Sacramento Mini-Fling
October 28th and 29th, 2011

This year’s Family Fling will be a wonderful day of academic and spirited fellowship.  

The cost for the mini-fling is free, but I do need some folks to volunteer to
1) Pick me up from the SAC airport - Farrington
2) Provide me a bed Friday night - Speece
3) Provide me a bed on Saturday night - Speece
4) Take me to the airport Sunday (You can take me early so that you can get back to church on time)- Thomas?
 

All current students of ETS and their families are welcome to come.   They may also invites friends if they would like.  Siblings are welcome to watch all events as long as parents are with them. 

Please bring folding or camp chairs that you might have as we may be sitting outside.

Please acquaint yourself with the ETS dress code before coming.  It will be enforced, so please err on the side of modesty as you plan your wardrobe. 

If you would like to register, please contact  with the name of the students participating as well as the names of siblings who will be coming as well.

    10:30 Debate - Theological Topics

    Resolved: Burial is the only consistently Christian means of disposing of the deceased.
    Resolved: Tattoos defile the temple of the body, while lipstick does not.
    Resolved: If America does not imprison Shakira, Britney and Beyonce, we can expect more Muslim aggression and rightly deserve it.  

12:00 - 2:00 Lunch and Sports - Please bring your own sack lunch.  Be sure to wear shoes that allow some physical activity!

2:00 - 4:30 Movie and discussion - Merchant of Venice (edited)

4:30 - 6:00 Music recital

If you would like to play a piece of music or to recite poetry for the recital, please come ready to perform.

7:00-10:00 p.m. Dance: Feel free to dress semi-formally or casual for this event.  We will be teaching: country dances (i.e. Virginia Reel), swing, waltz, Greek, Regency dances and any other dances we forgot to mention but have time for.
