ETS Christmas Ball

Friday before Christmas (Usually)
5:00 Setup and chat
6:00 - 10:00 Ball
10:00-11:00 Clean up

Please bring a plate of your favorite Christmas appetizer.
If your last initial begins with A-L please bring a sweet on  e and if M-Z, a savory one.  If you would like to bring a push button thermos of a hot drink instead of a snack that would also be great.

Please remember to look at the ETS dress code, as addressing dress code issues at the ball is awkward for all.

The cost is $10 per person with a maximum of $30 per family.  If your family will stay to clean up after the ball or will bring an outdoor proprane heater to put on the patio during the ball, your maximum is $0.  Students who play in the band are free as well.  If you would like to bring a heater or help clean up, please signup by emailing me.  We need three heaters one setup family and three cleanup families.

All current and Alumni families are welcome to attend.  If you can bring an instrument to play in the band, please email me at gbt@gbt.org.  You can practice beforehand with the dance music on the music page.

Please remember to leave early as traffic is almost always bad that evening. Drive slow as it is easy to miss the barn. It will also be quite dark.  You are looking for this building pictured below.  For full directions click here. If you have a guidance system, you can search for "Walnut Grove Park, San Marcos, CA"  Remember, the more people who show up at 5 p.m. to set up, the more time we will have for dancing and singing.    If you would like to practice dances beforehand, please go to the dance section of the music page.

We will be singing the Hallelujah chorus as well as Messiah #12 and #4 during the singing portion of the evening.  You can practice beforehand with the finale version at the music page.

If you take pictures at the ball, please email them to me so that I can create a webpage.

See you at the ball!
Mr. Hinrichs
